Sonic Death Worship!

Forged in the shadows of the Norwegian underground, SHAARIMOTH emerged in 2004, though its roots stretch back to 1998 — a lineage steeped in darkness, death, and the relentless pursuit of destruction. Their sound is a ferocious blend of ecstasy and fury, shattering genre confines while paying homage to the ancient masters of the Black Arts.

SHAARIMOTH crafts a distinctive fusion of technical Death Metal, intricately entwined with haunting ambient interludes and profound occult themes. This transcends mere music; it is a ritualistic experience, a channeling of Occult Propaganda that manifests Dark Currents through every note. Within the realm of SHAARIMOTH, music transforms into a dark invocation, summoning forces that linger just beyond the veil.

Their debut album, "Current 11", was unleashed in 2005 through Carnal Records, later re-released in a new skin by World Terror Committee in 2019. This work plunges into the abyss of Chao-Gnosticism through the prism of ancient Sumerian traditions, swiftly attaining cult status within the underground, its influence solidified through years of devoted worship.

After a prolonged silence, SHAARIMOTH returned with vengeance, announcing their second album, "Temple of the Adversarial Fire", released by World Terror Committee in 2017. This offering deepens their exploration of dark themes and sonic rituals, reinforcing their unyielding presence in the metal landscape.

In 2021, SHAARIMOTH contributed to the split "SamaeLilith: A Conjunction of the Fireborn", a testament to their relentless creativity and unyielding commitment to their craft. This collaboration intensified their dark narratives, enriching their already ritualistic sound.

As the wheels of time inexorably turn, SHAARIMOTH stands poised to unleash their next abomination, "Devildom", in 2024. This forthcoming release promises to be a monumental event — a culmination of their journey and a daring plunge into uncharted realms of darkness.

Steel yourselves for the reckoning — prepare for death!
